The CHED Bagong Merit Pilipinas Merit Scholarship Program is presently accepting applications for the academic year 2026-2027, with 20,000 scholarship available nationally. Through this Scholarship programs.

What is BPMS?

The Bagong philipinas Merit Scholarship Program (BPMSP) is a merit-based scholarship program for Filipino senior high school graduates seeking further education or technical- vocational education in priority programs.

Requirements to Apply?

For Higher Educational (HE)

• Must be a Filipino citizen and an entering first-year college student.
• Graduated from Grade 12 in the Top Five (5) of the graduating class or with a minimum GWA of 95% or equal
• Must have graduated from the basic Education Curriculum or Senior High School with a minimum GWA of 95% or equivalent.
• The annual household income should not exceed ₱2,000,000.
• Must enroll in a CHED-identified priority program.
• have not obtained any units or degrees from tertiary education.

• PSA Birth Certificate
• SF9/Form 138 (Learner’s Progress Report card) – SHS
• Proof of income
  • BIR Certificate of Tax Exemption/Non-Filer
  • DSWD/C-MSWD Certificate (4Ps beneficiaries)
  • Parents/Guardians Latest ITR copy
  • OFW/Seafarer Contract or Proof of income
• Enrollment form
• A Duty Filled and Signed Parent/Legal Guardian Certification (Annex L)
• For those who graduates on or before SY 2015-2016
  • Certified True Copy (CTC) of Fourth Year (4th year) High School Report card (Form 138)

• Free Tuition -Tuition and other School For SUCs, LUCs, and qualifying private higher education institutions.
• Stipend and Allowance -Scholars will receive a salary and living allowance per school year.
• Academic Excellence Incentive- An additional incentive is offered to Scholars who rank in the to ten each terms.
