CHED EASE Scholarship 2026-2027: Application, Deadline, Requirement, Open Now to Apply
The CHED EASE Scholarship is now taking online applications for the academic year 2026-2027. If you belong to a specific Equity Group, this Scholarship can help you afford your studies.

What is the CHED EASE Scholarship?
(EASE) The Expanding Access to Scholarship for Equity Groups Program promotes social inclusion by increasing educational opportunities. By providing targeted financial incentives, it supports not only recipients’ access to higher education but also their retention and successful completion.
What are the Requirements to Apply?
- Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must be a certified member of any SEGS;
- Must have graduated from a Senior high School (SHS) in the Philippines with a minimum general average of at least 85% or its equivalent.
- Admission or enrollment is required in any CHED-identified priority undergraduate programs with valid GR or COPC, delivered by PHEIS or SUCS duly recognized by the CHED, or LUCs with IR: and
- The combined yearly gross income of the parents/s or legal guardian/s, in the case of children or dependents, must not exceed PHp 2,00,000.

Documentary Requirements
- Photocopy of Birth certificate issued by the by the National Statistics Office (NSO) or the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA);
- Certified true copy of Form 138 [Learner’s Progress Report Card or School Form 9 (SF9)]
- Duly signed by the register or an authorized representative of the SHS attended;
- Admission Slip or a comparable document from your desired higher education institution.
- For underprivileged and homeless citizens.
- The Local Housing office issued the applicant’s certification.
- Urban Poor Affairs Office
- The Department of human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD)
- The City/Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (C/MSWDO)
- Proof of inclusion in the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS)
- For IPS
- The Applicant’s certification granted by the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP)
- For Senior Citizens—The applicant’s Senior Citizen ID, issued by the office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA);
Scholarship Benefits
For SUCs and LUCs:
- FREE – Tuition and Other School Fees
- ₱35,000 per year – Stipend
- ₱5,000 per year – Book / Connectivity Allowance
- ₱40,000 per Year – TOTAL
For Private HEIS:
- ₱20,000 per year—Tuition and Other School Fees
- ₱35,000 per year – Stipend
- ₱5,000 per year – Book/Connectivity Allowance
- ₱60,000 per year – TOTAL
Special Equity Groups
- Indigenous people
- Senior Citizens’
- Solo parents and their Children;
- Person with Disabilities
- Individuals covered by the Mega carta of the Poor.
- Citizens who are underprivileged or homeless
