The GBF – Gokongwei Brothers Foundation Scholarship Is now open for AY 2026-2027, All eligible and aspiring students are welcome to apply for Scholarship program.
The TeachSTEM Scholarship is mainly aimed at supporting individuals who wish to pursue a career in teaching science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Subjects. These scholarships are offered by various organizations, universities and government programs to encourage highly skilled individuals to join the teaching professions.
What is Gokongwei Brothers Foundation?
The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) is one of the largest organizations in the Philippines, establish in 1992 by the Gokongwei family. It’s mission is to contribute to the development of the nation by empowering individuals through education.
GBF Focuses on initiatives that promote quality education, particularly in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), with the goal of building a strong, skilled, and competitive Filipino Workforce.
Requirements to Apply
Following are the list of Eligibility Requirements to apply:
- Must be 1st and 2nd year students taking Bachelor’s degree in education with STM-related Fields, tech-voc training education.
- LET Performance must be above 65%
- General Weighted Average (GWA) must be 85% or its equivalent with no failing or dropped grades.
- With Good moral standing.
- Must be a resident of Region 8, Region 9, Region 12, Region 13, or BARMM who is willing to teach in a public school in their community after graduation.
- Must be in need of financial support.
- Must be active in extracurricular or community activities.

Documentary Requirements to apply
Here are the list of Documentary Requirements to apply TeachSTEM Scholarship Program:
- For incoming college students:
- Certified True copy of Grades-Grad 12 Report Card (1st term only if 2nd term is not yet available)
- Good moral charater
- Proof of Academic Standing
- Certified true copy of Grades
- 1st term AY 2025-2026 (Signed/certified portal-generated grades are accepted) Registration form – 2nd/3nd Term AY 2025-2026
- Notice of Admission or Proof of university Application for AY 2026-2027

Benefits of TeachSTEM scholarship Program
Following are the list of Benefits given to the qualified applicants:
- Financial Grant of:
- State University PHP45,000 Per Year.
- Private University PHP65,000 Per Year.
- Scholarship grant are sent directly to their Bank account.
- The Financial Grants may be used for educational expenses like tuition, Books, supplies, living Expenses and conduct of research.
